Operations Manager
Job Introduction
We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Sodexo Live! team based at Beckenham, Kent County Cricket Club as our Operations Manager.
In this exciting and challenging role, you will be responsible for the delivery of superb events that take place at the venue, ensuring they run smoothly and successfully.
You will be an experienced hands-on Operations Manager who can motivate and lead a team and deliver a first-class services to our clients.
Ideally you will have worked in similar venues before, promoting events and sales but we are happy to speak with candidates who have come from different venues and have the right attitude and ambition to thrive with us!

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promote, market, sell and deliver all none cricket day events at the site
- Manage all cricket day events with support from Canterbury on-site team
- Support Canterbury site matchdays and large scale events, as and when required
- Work with client for in house bookings [e.g. neighbouring football ground, sports events]
- Resource and manage all casuals employees
- Work with Canterbury admin to ensure all admin, finance and compliance activities are carried out
- Units are operating within budget
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE
- Expertly manage senior and often challenging client relationships
- Highly developed verbal and non-verbal communication skills
- Wide ranging Stadia management experience
- Extensive experience in delivering public retail and high quality hospitality operations
Desirable
- IOSH managing safely qualification
