Job Introduction

Operations Manager 

Location: Cambridge 

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 + excellent benefits

 

Sodexo are currently recruiting for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our established on site teams at our prestigious pharmaceutical client based in Cambridge. 

 Working across 3 sites, you will oversee the full range of IFM operations for cleaning, housekeeping, catering, and technical services delivered by Sodexo. 

 Managing delivery through your teams, whilst also working closely with senior stakeholders and client employees, you will ensure a best-in-class approach is taken across of aspects of the service delivery.

About You

To be considered for this role you will have and be able to demonstrate knowledge and experience in the following areas: 

  • Previous operational management experience in a commercial facilities environment 
  • Proven experience of managing a diverse workforce within a service environment 
  • Ability to interpret and utilise financial and commercial information. 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, and employees at all levels. 
  • Experienced in using Microsoft Office to a professional standard.
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills 
  • Manage multiple workloads and shifting priorities.  


Desirable experience

  • BIFM, NVQ qualification, or equivalent 
  • Previous experience of facilities management 
  • Experience of delivering training using company guidelines
