Offshore Catering Equipment Engineer

Job Introduction

Sodexo are currently looking for an Offshore Catering Equipment Engineer to join our Offshore & Marine business.

The successful candidate will support the Site Manager in the maintenance and repair of catering & galley equipment and upkeep of furnishings and fittings within the site's accommodation facilities.

Role Responsibility

  • Carry out planned maintenance routines (PMRs) on catering, refrigeration & laundry equipment
  • Order spares and equipment as is necessary to maintain equipment availability
  • Maintain strong relationships with DEM coordinators to ensure cost effective supply and control of spares
  • Notify the Chef Manager and/or DEM Coordinator of any equipment that is showing signs of wear and tear that should be replaced in the near future
  • Repair/replace defective internal lighting in accommodation, mess, galley & laundry
  • Report to Chef Manager any incident of fire, loss, damage and other irregularities or contract deviations and take such corrective action as may be required
  • Upkeep and compliance with risk assessments and safe systems of work

  • City & guilds 236 parts 1 & 2, or equivalent
  • IEE wiring regulations 17th Edition
  • COMPEX 1-4
  • BOSIET or FOET
  • MIST
  • CA-EBS
  • OGUK Food Handler's Medical

Package Description

£284.47 per day + benefits
