Location: Cambridge

Salary: £31,220.80 - £35,000 & range of excellent employee benefits

Onsite – Monday-Friday

Sodexo has a great opportunity for an experienced Office Manager to join our established team working with our clients based in Cambridge.

Joining our team of 20 at their large pharmaceutical site, you will manage the delivery of our five-star customer experience within a highly corporate workplace environment, including meeting room technology support, brew hub maintenance, stationery hub maintenance, office space support & hospitality provision, leading and directing the Front of House service stream and ensuring the 5-star customer service is experienced by all so proved strong people management skills are a must.

As the Office Manager, no two days are the same. You will be the first point of on-site contact & escalations for building occupants on facilities-related queries, ensuring the floor area is compliant with scope of services, Key Performance Indicators, Health, Safety and Environmental procedure and that all faults are reported accordingly. You will also recruit, train and lead a team, ensuring that the correct skill set is in place and maintained to the highest standards at all times.

You will help proactively establish relationships and maintain effective working practices with a complex stakeholder map spanning multiple organisations and ensure the office is compliant to Food, Health, Safety and Environmental procedures, reporting all faults and issues to the relevant service partner in accordance with the service management direction.

This position requires a proactive customer focused individual with an exceptional eye for detail and the ability to communicate and build relationships at all levels. The person needs to be a forward thinker with a methodical approach, exceptional planning, and excellent organisational and communication skills. The role requires a desire to seek continuous improvement with the ability to challenge in order to further develop the service offer. 

The successful candidate will need to have strong leadership qualities as well as excellent administration skills, with the ability to operate independently and escalate where appropriate.

About You 

Experience and knowledge requirement for this role: 

    Ability to manage multiple tasks with tight deadlines in a dynamic environment

    Self-motivated with the ability to work on own initiative and work flexible hours within predetermined site operational hours, maintaining energy levels throughout the day

    Customer service focused on delivering exceptional customer service

    Previous FOH experience

    Understanding of Sodexo policies and procedures

    Risk assessment experience

    Familiar with safety procedures

    SIA trained

    People Management skills

    Excellent prioritisation and coordination skills 

    Leadership skills and collaborative attitude

    Excellent Communicator and interpersonal skills

    Hands on approach and can-do attitude

    Reliable and trustworthy

    Resilient and flexible

    Attention to detail

    IT Literate 

    Proactive

Qualifications required:

    HACCP / Food Safety 

    IOSH Certificate in Managing Safely (Desirable)
