Night Cleaner - Cathay pacific lounge at Heathrow Terminal 3

Job Introduction

About the Role

At Sodexo, our team of Cleaning Operatives is vital to ensuring that all of the hygiene standards are maintained to an excellent level at Heathrow terminal 3.

With a keen eye for detail and a great attitude you’ll be ensuring that all our areas are kept sparkling.

You must be able to provide 5 years working history, and 5 years address.

A few things about you

Your excellent attention to detail and good communication skills will be key in this role! Being a team player is important, but you’ll also need to be able to work well on your own.

It doesn’t matter if you’ve worked on a similar position before, what does matter to us, is taking pride in what you do. You'll also need a willingness to learn as there will be many opportunities to grow and progress your career with Sodexo!

Sodexo embeds a strong safety culture in everything we do. There will be company procedures to follow alongside our Health & Safety practises, so it is vital that you'll champion this. 

Role Responsibility

• Ensure that the lounge and seating area is clean, sofa chairs and tables are arranged per the lounge plan.
• Spot clean all cupboards, tables, desks and other furniture and fittings.
• Vacuum recesses in upholstered furniture.
• Dust all surfaces, fittings, frames, signage and furniture below two metres.
• Dust and spot clean all skirting.
• Spot clean all walls, doors and paintwork.
• Dust wall surfaces.
• Clear and vacuum all carpeted areas paying attention to corners.
• Clean and polish all hard floor surfaces.
• Clean and sanitise telephones and computers s well as other business centre equipment (photo-copier, printer etc)
• Dust ceiling air vents.
• Empty waste bins, as necessary. Wipe clean and replace bin liners when required.
• Vacuum the carpets to remove all obvious soil, dirt and crumbs.
• Clean and wipe chairs and sofas.

Package Description

• 37.5 hours per week 
• £10.50per hour 
• Shift time 10pm - 5.30am (variable)
