Neurodiversity Manager (SENCo) - FTC
Job Introduction
Sodexo have a great opportunity for a Neurodiversity Manager to join their team based at HMP Lowdham Grange.
Reporting to our Head of Reducing Reoffending, the Neurodiversity Manager will focus on supporting individuals of Neurodiversity or SEND to achieve and progress through Education, Skill and Work pathways throughout their sentence. As the Neurodiversity Manager, you will work closely with the healthcare team, offender managers, probation officers and Prison Custody Officers to provide a pathway of support from reception to release. You will also ensure Neurodiversity needs are known and understood and that reasonable adjustments are considered in all prison environments.
The ideal candidate should have experience in a specialist neurodiversity role such as a school SENDco, have fantastic people skills and be passionate about improving the learning experience for neuro-diverse prisoners

Role Responsibility

The Ideal Candidate
- Experience of operating in a specialist neurodiversity role (for example, as a school SENDCo)
- Experience of working with Neurodiverse adults in any setting.
- Detailed knowledge of OFSTED/Estyn’s EIF (Education Inspection Framework) and further education and skills criteria.
- PGCE, Cert Ed or Level 5 in Education and Training.
- Level 4 Certificate in Supporting the learning of learners with Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)/ Additional Learning Needs (ALN).
Package Description
Up to £38,000 depending on experience
Fixed term contract - March 2025
