As the Apprenticeship Lead, you will implement and manage apprenticeship programmes that align with our strategic goals, meet the highest standards of quality and compliance and support our apprentices with obtaining the skills to thrive. You will collaborate across segments and teams to embed apprenticeships into workforce planning, champion success by supporting apprentices, managers and partners and use data and feedback to drive continuous improvement.
We’re looking for someone with proven experience in apprenticeship programme management, who has the strong knowledge of apprenticeships and funding rules, excellent communication skills and a passion for helping people succeed.

Main Responsibilities
- Programme Development: Develop and implement apprenticeship programmes that align with both industry standards and organisational objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Foster and sustain collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders, educational institutions, training providers, and industry partners to enrich the apprenticeship experience.
- Mentorship and Support: Create a supportive environment for apprentices by facilitating mentoring and establishing robust feedback mechanisms.
- Digital Apprenticeship Account Management: Oversee and assume accountability for the management of the Digital Apprenticeship Account.
- Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure all apprenticeship programmes adhere to legal requirements and uphold the highest standards of quality, holding training providers responsible for performance.
- Recruitment and Selection: Partner with the Talent Acquisition team and broader business on recruiting, selecting, and onboarding apprentices,
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and assess apprentice progress, provider outputs and programme effectiveness, making data-driven adjustments as necessary to achieve strategic goals.
- Budget Management: Manage apprenticeship levy spend forecasting ensuring optimal allocation of resources to accomplish desired outcomes.
The Ideal Candidate
- Hands-on experience leading apprenticeship programmes that deliver measurable impact, ideally in hospitality, facilities management, or another fast-paced sector.
- Strong understanding of apprenticeship standards, funding rules, and the skills needed to meet industry demands.
- Ability to confidently communicate with stakeholders at all levels, building trust and alignment around shared goals.
- Proven track record of forming strong partnerships with training providers, industry bodies and internal teams.
- Able to take ownership of initiatives, driving them forward, and delivering on time, within scope and to a high standard.
- Passion for creating apprenticeship programmes that foster inclusion, build a sense of belonging, and open pathways to social mobility in the communities we serve.
