We are looking for an experienced Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer with strong HVAC expertise to join our Building Services team. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the effective delivery of both planned and reactive maintenance across site facilities.
As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you'll:
Deliver safe and effective planned and reactive maintenance across all mechanical and HVAC systems.
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on a wide range of HVAC and mechanical assets.
Provide technical support during critical incidents, including out-of-hours cover when required.
Oversee subcontractors and assure work quality against industry best practices and Sodexo Engineering Standards.
Ensure all activities are carried out in line with health and safety requirements, including Risk Assessments, Method Statements, and permit-to-work systems.
Support the training and development of team members to raise technical capability.
Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and colleagues.
What we're looking for:
NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Systems (or equivalent qualification).
Minimum 5 years’ experience in mechanical engineering, with proven expertise in HVAC systems.
Practical knowledge of engineering standards such as SFG20.
Strong understanding of health and safety, ideally holding IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH General Certificate, or equivalent.
IT literate with experience using CAFM/CMMS systems (SAP experience desirable).
Ability to work independently, prioritise workload effectively, and communicate confidently with stakeholders
