Multiskilled Engineer – Belfast Erskine House
Sodexo is seeking an experienced Multiskilled Engineer to lead day-to-day operations at Belfast Erskine House, Belfast BT1 4GF. You will be Responsible for completing statutory, legislative, and mandatory building services maintenance on the client site.
This includes carrying out both planned and reactive multi-disciplinary maintenance, as well as minor new works as directed.
What you will do:
Diagnose faults and repair building services assets within technical capability.
Undertake routine maintenance and ensure all systems meet required standards and regulations.
Carry out like-for-like asset replacements and minor new works.
Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and team members.
Support and guide apprentices as needed.
Make informed decisions within agreed parameters.
Maintain awareness of cost efficiency and sustainability in all tasks.
What You Bring:
Minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification experience in a similar role.
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Building Services or related discipline.
Strong practical engineering and maintenance skills.
Experience working independently in a technical maintenance environment.
Knowledge of Health & Safety standards and safe systems of work.
IT literate, with experience using Microsoft Office and Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to self-manage and plan workload effectively.
Understanding of Helpdesk procedures and workflow processes.
