As a Multiskilled Technician you'll:
- Activities include (but are not limited to) act as part of a team of multi skilled operatives to ensure the client site is maintained to the required standard
- To carry out planned works to schedule provided by Helpdesk/ Planner
- To attend to all site plumbing team duties with regards to blockages, leaks, repairs etc as required as per the Fix system and to carry out small plumbing installation works
- To complete and record accurately Legionella checks in accordance with L8 Statutory requirements. To report results to Lead Engineer and to act as point of contact to external agencies as required.
- To carry out monthly monitoring of safe air testing using the FACTAIR testing equipment when required, following statutory and regulatory policies and procedures recording accurate information to the timescales within the Fix system.
- To provide emergency cover in collection of effluent samples, on a daily basis, mixing and testing the required samples with correct procedures used for the storage of said samples to include completion of all required and mandatory paperwork, ensuring the correct provision of samples is delivered to the relevant laboratories in a timely manner
- To act as point of contact to external agencies in the collection and identification of said samples, using safe and correct methods of disposal of samples no longer required.
- The provision of required signage as per client instructions, to include any additional fixing and adhesion to the required areas in a timely manner, including the maintenance of required machinery and accessories (including for example the sharpening of needles, etc)
- To remove and clean air conditioning filters across site to a schedule as provided by the Helpdesk / Planner.
- To perform semi-skilled duties as planned and detailed by the Civils Supervisor, Helpdesk / Planner or Lead Engineer within the capabilities of the role to include such items as small building works, repairs and installation to internal and external fabrics such as doors, locks, ceilings, flooring, walls and roofing
- To complete all required training on the joinery workshop machinery as required.
- To ensure the workshop and all machinery, tools, etc are stored correctly and the house-keeping of the areas are maintained to a high standard at all times.
- Complete routine tasks & daily/weekly duties, as identified with the Helpdesk / Planner and Lead Engineer, to the agreed timescales and standards.
- Report to the Lead Engineer at specified regular intervals to report on progress
- Attend to reactive site Fix works as instructed and return completed job sheet to the helpdesk team within the same day.
- Ensure Maximo duties are completed following on site policies and procedures, adhering to all risk assessments/method statements/COSHH and Quality / GMP requirements.
- Ensure full uniform and PPE is worn at all times including safety shoes, gloves, overall, and any other PPE as identified in the Risk Assessments.

- Excellent industrial and domestic plumbing skills – registered plumber
- Self-motivated.

- Good time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Awareness of GxP.
Desirable
- Working in a Pharmaceutical environment.
- Plumbing skills / qualifications
