Moves, Adds and Changes Manager

We are looking for an experienced Moves, Adds and Changes (MAC) Manager with all the above as well as project management, change management and occupancy planning skills to join our team on our blue-chip client’s HQ site in Brentford.

We offer a salary of £60,000 - £65,000, a great team and excellent progression and development opportunities within the company.

 

Role Responsibility

  • Understand the organisation and how it operates bringing innovation to the customer where applicable.
  • Making yourself the key “go to” person for all MAC and Occupancy related quires to be the SME in this role.
  • Motivate and guide others in your team to grow themselves into their own professional career paths.
  • Process all new starters requirements, within agreed timescale.
  • Ensure changes for dedicated spaces/storage and individual storage units are consistently tracked and updated in Serraview, and vacated storage units are emptied and locked.
  • Maintain all warranty documentation as provided, advised Client of warranty expirations in timely manner to allow extension of warranty if allowable, kept Client aware of trending, or reoccurring repairs/maintenance.
  • Integrate furniture after MAC sign-off of delivery from Capital Project acceptance includes manufacturer warranties; care and maintenance instructions; detailed furniture drawings; and listing of all furniture pieces/parts, manufactures are delivered, update inventory; and issue furniture drawings to be incorporated into Serraview.
  • By MAC Projects: address organisational changes, or restack, requiring movement of staff or expense only efforts such as: furniture reconfiguration; branding installation; carpet replacement; etc.
  • Provide management for expense projects above BAU activity.
  • For each MAC project you will manage the following activates:  provide rate card for activities; update Serraview with people and furniture changes; identify and assign site/building/floor/space and individual storage units; procurement, communication scope, and billing for trades; oversight of trades; ensure trades follow Client’s policy, procedure, and training; and billing of activities to appropriate entities; scheduling of activities; change management resources; collect all trades estimates and provide to Client for approval; and identify departmental storage and other special use space, furniture coordination (design, review inventory, specifying, procuring, receipt and inspection, delivery to work area, installation, etc.). Also, includes project management for modifications to address non-BAU update, revisions, or installation on new: (desks, lockers, file storage, rooms/spaces, etc.); and site wayfinding.
  • Ensure all changes are in alignment with Client’s 12-month migration plan for assignment of support spaces or special use spaces.  Raise issues of lack of space, or lack of specific space type to GSK or their representatives for solutions or escalation.  Raise issues with non-standard requests to Site Lead.
  • Provide Capital Projects and Site Leads estimates for ad-hoc cost work activities/resources as requested to support Projects. Work with Capital Projects, Design and Change, Site Directors, RMPs and Occupancy Planning to ensure established organizations assigned areas, space allocations, furniture standards, and workplace initiatives are maintained throughout Projects. 
  • Ensure that people move, organizational space assignments, furniture changes, and architectural changes are updated in Serraview.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Substantial experience in a similar role within a blue-chip HQ environment
  • Able to demonstrate a track record of moves, adds & changes management.
  • Managed small teams of service professionals.
  • Worked within an Integrated FM environment.
  • Be a member of your professional body.
  • Have a strong customer service ethic.
  • Worked with space management and occupancy management databases and enterprise software solutions.
  • Solid understanding of the Serraview CAFM system or similar
  • Have a working knowledge of H&S (NEBOSH/IOSH)
  • Have a detailed knowledge of building workplace standards and relevant legislation
  • Be resourceful and a natural problem solver.
