Mobilisation Manager – Technical Services
Job Introduction
We are currently recruiting Mobilisation Manager to lead and co-ordinate Technical Services due diligence, mobilisation and steady state activity to enable the account operations team to operate in line with the contract from day one. The role has a UK wide remit so flexibility to travel is essential.
Utilising your technical services expertise and experience you:
- will identify, through robust due diligence, all observations and risks which would impact on statutory compliance and contractual requirements
- compile reports for stakeholders to understand key areas of focus and opportunities moving into stabilisation phase
- implement the framework of our document management system
- will adhere to mobilisation governance through robust project plans and clear roles & responsibilities
- maintain proactive communication and engagement with your key stakeholders including programme manager, authorising engineers, technical services board and HSE.

These roles would be welcomed into Service Operations; a central function providing expertise and process standardisation across the business. Service Operations leverages our global expertise and best practice to bring the best of Sodexo to all of our clients. It includes everything from FM expertise to food development through to bid support, health and safety, and contract design and management.
Role Responsibility
- Lead and co-ordinate Technical Services due diligence, mobilisation and steady state activity to enable the account operations team to operate in line with the contract from day one
- Work alongside the PMO, assigned HSE lead, authorising engineers and other roles to ensure clear communication and ways of working whilst aligned to a project.
- Clear handover of Technical Services to operational/contract team with documented due diligence, agreed action plan and clarity of next steps.
- Maintain Technical Service expertise and Hard FM (HFM) services knowledge; upskilling in business improvement tools/techniques and wider HFM services
- Cultivate and develop relationships with professional family to embed standardised ways of working
- Challenge solutions, mobilisations and working practices to continuously improve and learn from each other within an inclusive culture.
The Ideal Candidate
- A recognised apprenticeship or HNC in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or C&G, ONC, OND, NVQ 4 with a commitment to undergo continuing professional development.
- IOSH Working Safely or equivalent, (or a willingness to undertake and complete successfully within 3 months from commencement of employment).
- Experience of delivering and or mobilising Hard Services contracts.
- Competent with the use of all Microsoft packages (O365), with the ability to produce own documentation, financial spreadsheets and reports.
- Customer focused, dedicated to meeting and exceeding the expectations of internal and external customers.
- Collaborative, with the ability to work as part of an engaged and focused team.
- Priority-setting skills, can do attitude with the ability to manage own time and the time of the others.
- Driving licence and ability to travel UK wide for business needs.
