What you’ll do:
Act as a first line response to activations & incidents or fault reporting
Log and transfer calls, relay messages and provide guidance and advice to visitors, clients, contractors and staff
What you bring:
Ability to interact with employees, contractors, consultants, visitors, and management as well as local police and fire authorities
A full current driving license
Excellent communication and awareness skills
Experience in working in a similar role
Knowledge of security techniques and site and local emergency procedures

Role Responsibility
- Carry out safety walks, conversation and to supervise Safety standards, across area of responsibility thereby ensuring that our people and customers are always kept safe whilst ensuring the site folder is up to date with all new and relevant policies.
- Deliver all mandatory training within a given timeline and support with additional training needs to the front-line teams.
- Ensure effective force management that we have full coverage whilst monitoring attendance / absence and following policy and procedures around triggers and absence management.
- Ensure staff records are accurately maintained and HR issues are dealt with appropriately and in accordance with Legislation and Company policy.
- Liaising with control room team with resourcing planned activities, reactive and ad hoc requests.
- Visit sites across the region minimum of 3 sites a week to conduct routine welfare visits for all staff throughout the area of responsibility.
- Act as a first point of contact to address any issues that arise on site, from client or customer in a timely manner.
- To carry out any other reasonable tasks and/or instructions as directed by line manager.
The Ideal Candidate
- Able to work on own initiative within a team environment
- Good numerical, interpersonal and communication skills, must be able to demonstrate effective verbal and written communication.
- Able to demonstrate working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Minimum of 2 years driving experience and over the age of 25 (Manual)
- DBS and BPSS vetting is required for all roles within contract
- Supervisory skills and or experience
- SIA licence (preferred)
Package Description
- 40 hours per week
- £10.83 per hour
- Monday - Friday
- Some early starts and late finishes to cover with shifts of RA's who work 8pm-8am
