Meeting & Events Coordinator

Job Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual to join our team in Cambridge, CB2 0AA as a Meeting & Events Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing meetings, conferences, and events for our company. 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of meetings, conferences, and events
  • Work closely with internal teams to understand event objectives and requirements.
  • Develop event timelines, budgets, and logistical plans.
  • Coordinate with external vendors and suppliers to negotiate contracts and ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Manage event registration processes and attendee communications.
  • Oversee onsite event execution, including setup, registration, attendee assistance, and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor and evaluate event performance, gather feedback, and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records of event expenses and budget allocations.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in event planning and coordination, preferably in a corporate or hospitality environment.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality and memorable experiences for attendees.
  • Proficiency in event management software and tools.

  • £13.98  per hour + Sodexo Benefits.
