We have a great opportunity for you to join us as a Materials Management Lead in Kinsale, Cork!
You'll be responsible for ensuring the safe storage of equipment and materials, receiving deliveries and managing the chemical and consumable area.
With your keen eye for detail, you'll be creating standing orders whilst cross checking invoices. you'll ensure great communication with your colleagues on any material requirements, whilst aligning to cost saving initiatives.

Role Responsibility
- To be responsible for all day to day aspects relating to the management and maintenance of the Lab Support service within the contract specification to the agreed performance, qualitative and financial targets.
- To provide a Lab Support service to the agreed standards in accordance with the Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators specified in the service contract
- Order stores as required following Company procedures through nominated suppliers approved by Sodexo. Liaise with client on upcoming campaigns, that require above average stocks of VMI material / one-off orders.
- Control the issue and usage of Lab Support materials to client staff and monthly meeting with Client Purchasing and Lab reps to ensure strict cost control and negotiating discounts with Supplier
- SAP ordering on behalf of client, Preparation of Shopping carts for client purchasing dept.
The Ideal Candidate
- Proven experience in working in a Lab Support team
- Industry acumen and knowledge of Lab Support services
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience working in a standards /compliance environment
Package Description
Materials Management Lead
- €35,000 per annum
- 39 hours per week
