Marketing Office Coordinator

Job Introduction

We are looking to recruit a Marketing Office Coordinator who will manage third party agent bookings for The Open and other major events; this is a proactive and varied role involving marketing and management of communications between the sales and operational events teams.

Role Responsibility

You will be liaising with third party events agents to keep them informed of all relevant information relating to the events such as package details, pricing and commission structures. You will also provide agents with images and copy for their websites to use on sales collateral for our events and actively source new third party agents (hospitality agents, travel and tour operators, concierge companies and sports management companies) to work with to promote The Open Hospitality Programme. Attending trade shows you will help promote the brand externally, you will also be involved in controlling the internal sales booking system to ensure effectiveness of the system and recording of all relevant information. You will also be a point of contact for invoicing, special request forms and information packs. Working with marketing you will help create copy and package descriptions for brochure, websites and postcards, in addition to assisting with creating Information Packs on key events. Part of this role also involves administration for the sales team, regards booking and managing travel.

  • An understanding of the hospitality and sports industry
