Sodexo Live! have an amazing opportunity in Nottinghamshire for a dynamic Marketing professional to join our team.

As our Marketing Executive you will be the driving force behind our venue's marketing strategy.  Working closely with the Sales Manager, you'll oversee the development and implementation of marketing strategies to enhance the venue's presence in the conference & event market. Creativity is key to this role as you will develop creative marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives to drive event day retail revenue, conference and event sales, and overall business growth.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the coordination of our venue's communication and events calendar, ensuring effective communication and promotion across various platforms.
  • Collate and co-ordinate site communication and events calendar to deliver information for marketing campaigns and promotional activity to drive event day retail revenue, C&E sales activity and other areas of the business.
  • Work closely with external and internal digital marketing teams to create engaging campaigns supporting social, newsletter/blog, website content and updates.
  • Work closely with the culinary and operations team to support on creating seasonal and promotional event day retail offers to drive footfall and increase spend per head.
  • Manage venue specific marketing reporting.
  • Update internal Sodexo Live! channels with up-to-date PV&E and venue materials and offers.
  • Deliver strong digital understanding and a clear go to market strategy with an understanding of customer segmentation to build relevant campaigns.
  • Develop effective POS to drive retail acquisition.
  • Develop promotions for bar retail areas and event day offers.
  • Work with venue client on their marketing channels to drive up-take of our offers.
  • Copy writing for a range of marketing activity purposes.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

In our fast-paced and challenging environment we need someone who is highly motivated, driven and results-oriented.  You will have previous marketing experience, preferably within the hospitality industry and a proven track record of delivering effective campaigns, with a focus on increasing sales and customer satisfaction.

You will be a self-starter, with excellent communication and time management skills, who is able to take on new challenges and deliver exceptional service to our clients. 

You will have a passion for food, drink and events and the ability to think creatively and bring innovative ideas in your approach to delivering food and drink related promotions. 

You will also have:         

  • Strong analytical and data-driven thinking
  • Up to date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing, measurement, data management 
  • A strong knowledge on GDPR to ensure compliance with data management.
  • Brand development experience 
  • Wide digital/social media knowledge
  • Attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
  • The ability to work well with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Experience of channel marketing
