Marketing, Campaign & Content Manager

Job Introduction

As part of our continued evolution within our Government & Agencies segment we have created a new Marketing & Communications Manager position, we’re looking for someone who’s experienced in managing insight led marketing campaigns, has a collaborative style and can think big picture to increase segment growth and engagement to join our team.

You’ll be an experienced marketeer capable of creating impactful, data and insight led campaign strategies ensuring strong links to our segment and contract growth strategies. You’ll take accountability for our annual communication strategy and campaign along with the launches of new products and services within the segment. Creating powerful social, web and in-app content, thought leadership and case studies directed at our target audiences will be one of your passions and you’ll collaborate with our sales / business development teams, understanding their pipelines and how we can better reach and influence target audiences through different social platforms. To be successful you’ll have great time management & organisation skills, budget & financial acumen, be a great communicator with brilliant stakeholder management skills.

Role Responsibility

  • To plan, co-ordinate and activate all UK segment marketing activity
  • Working with external agencies and internal digital marketing team to drive activity
  • Determine marketing plan for each stage of funnel, aligned with pipeline targets and growth contracts
  • Where possible activate marketing outputs in house through personal skills and capability
  • Develop resonating content and assets for each product and audience
  • Grow qualified leads to sales, and support conversion through sales toolkits
  • Bring new services and value proposition to life
  • Represent Sodexo at marketing and sales related events
  • Develop and manage marketing partnerships with key trade partners
  • Manage marketing budget and track ROI
  • Close working with the Content Strategy Director at MSDC and the Head of Comms for Government
  • Liaison with the regional content hub and external agencies, if necessary, to create content

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience of working in a senior marketing role with knowledge of database segmentation and targeting and an understanding of search engine optimization, experience of email marketing and an ability to interrogate website analytics
  • Knowledge of developing and managing long term commercial partnerships
  • Demonstrated experience with concept development and implementation strategies, including connecting the dots to create strong product or services roadmap
  • Experience in implementing complex projects with multiple stakeholders in time and budget and at standard
  • Strong influencing & communication skills (interpersonal, written, verbal, presentation)
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with Sales teams successfully
  • Strong planning, analytical and data interpretation skills; evidence of working as part of a team and experience of working with and managing agencies.

c.£45,000 per annum plus benefits & bonus
