Working Team Leader – Mechanical
Role Responsibility
About the Role
Sodexo has an exciting opportunity for a Working Team Leader –Mechanical to join our team on the DiageoBaileys contract, overseeing a multi-site operation. In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective operation and maintenance of mechanical systems across the sites, managing planned and reactive maintenance programs, leading lifecycle projects, and driving technical excellence.
What You'll Do
- Oversee mechanical systems including Pressure Systems, Heating, Chilled & Cooling Systems, Sprinkler Systems, Drainage, and Water Quality (UV).
- Lead lifecycle and variation projects (e.g., AC & UV upgrades).
- Manage and review compliance with PSSR, F-Gas and BMS systems.
- Supervise contractors and ensure adherence to H&S, regulatory standards, and Sodexo quality expectations.
- Train and develop a team of on-site engineers and technicians.
- Deliver cost-effective planned preventative and reactive maintenance strategies.
- Act as an Authorised Person and manage Permit to Work systems.
- Use CAFM (Maximo) and BMS systems to plan, monitor, and report on maintenance.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- HND or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in building services maintenance.
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and planning skills.
- Broad engineering knowledge and hands-on supervisory experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAFM systems (preferably IBM Maximo).
Desirable:
- Experience in food manufacturing or similar production environments.
- Higher-level engineering qualifications.

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: up to €68,000 + Excellent Benefits
