Maintenance Manager – King’s College Hospital, GoldenJubilee Wing (PFI)
Salary: £58,000 per year
Benefits: Eligible for £1,300 annual fund (UK)
Hours: 40 hours per week, 5 days per week
Location: King’s College Hospital, Golden Jubilee WingPFI
We’relooking for an experienced MaintenanceManager to join our Facilities Management team at King’s CollegeHospital. This role is crucial in ensuring the safe, efficient, andcompliant delivery of engineering and building services across a busy,high-profile healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the operational management of building and engineering services.
- Manage engineering teams, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Ensure compliance with statutory, legislative, HTM, and Project Agreement requirements.
- Oversee planned preventative and reactive maintenance services.
- Act as Authorised Person for key hospital systems.
- Support lifecycle projects, energy strategies, and sustainability initiatives.
- Build strong working relationships with NHS Trust staff, Sodexo representatives, and stakeholders.
What We’re Looking For:
- ONC/HNC (minimum) in a relevant building services discipline (degree desirable).
- Strong background in engineering, building services, and plant maintenance.
- Proven track record of leading teams and delivering against SLAs.
- Knowledge of health, safety, and statutory compliance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all levels.
