Logistics Service Manager

Job Introduction

This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your commercial management career within our Defence segment. This opportunity is based in Cyprus and will require a highly experienced manager to provide logistical support for this military contract.

Role Responsibility

  • Responsible for managing the logistics team that deliver the accommodation services on behalf of Sodexo and the MoD authority
  • Provide advice and guidance to all Logistic Support Unit military personnel and own team to ensure compliance with MoD policies and procedures
  • Conduct data analysis and provide the military client with data to monitor performance and expenditure on all aspects of the Logistic Support Unit SOR, forecasting and advising the client accordingly

The Ideal Candidate

  • Computer literate
  • NEBS Diploma in supervisory management skills
  • HSWA, IOSH and COSHH certificates
  • NVQ in manual handling procedures
  • Knowledge of Military Joint Deployable Inventory
  • Knowledge and ability to interpret and disseminate the Authority’s regulations appertaining to the Accommodation Services Support
  • Ability to work with the Authority to identify efficiency measures and complement the aims and objectives of BFC
  • Strong interpersonal skills and capable of dealing with stakeholders at all levels
  • Understand the Army management structure and the procedures for effective communication with the Authority’s representative
