Linen / Laundry Assistant

Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a Linen / Laundry Assistant to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

Role Responsibility

As a Linen / Laundry Assistant you will be responsible for:

 

  • The collection, cleaning, co-ordination and distribution of Laundry and Linen on site
  • Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed
  • Ensuring cleanliness and high standard of customer service is met

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate for this role will have:

 

  • Previous experience in a similar role with good numeracy skills
  • Characteristics such as reliability and hard working factor
  • Good attention to detail with excellent customer services skills
  • Good communication skills – written and verbal
  • The ability to demonstrate great team work

Package Description

This Position includes the Control of both the laundry and PPE stores on site.  Duties include the issue of PPE  ensuring all relevant paperwork is received and kept up to date.

The control of all staff uniforms including the measuring and issue of uniform to new Starters.

 

The successful candidate needs to be computer literate with a good knowledge of excel spread sheets.
