Lifeguard
Job Introduction
As a Lifeguard at Sodexo at Cpl Budd VC Gymnasium, Colchester Garrison you'll keep our fitness facilities running smoothly for our guests and colleagues.. Safety is key to this role and you'll be responsible for ensuring all our facilities remain clean, safe to use and help to maintain a welcoming environment. What you’ll do:
- Being the go-to person for our pool users, you’ll be super focused and willing to assist all our clients.
- Ensure all areas of the pool, gym and changing rooms are kept to a hygienic, healthy standard
- Replenishing stock and consumables if needed
- Be a champion of health and safety practices - spot a near miss? Report it to keep your colleagues safe!
What you bring:
- National Pool Lifeguard Qualification NPLQ - or equivalent is needed
- Confident knowledge of pool cleaning chemicals
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A great attitude when it comes to taking pride in your work space, a proactive person is who we are looking for.
- A keen eye for detail
- Inter-communication skills
- Can work at a fast pace and adapt to change when needed
- Be a team player and take instruction
