Learning and Development Trainer - part time

Job Introduction

We have a rare opportunity to join the Learning and Development team in Ireland on a part time basis, home based working three days a week this role involves delivering training to promote a learning culture within our workforce. You will be increasing the level of relevant skills and knowledge through the provision of learning and development activities. This role is home based however covers Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland, the main office is in Dublin but you would be required to travel to sites and locations, this would include frequent overnight stays.

Role Responsibility

Building strong relationships between learning and development and the wider business, you will mainly be delivering training within a classroom environment; however you will also be providing online support and training.

Consistent delivery of central L&D curriculum to the required standards
Ensuring that any legislative qualification that is needed is met and kept current.
Using/working with multiple learning technologies, including e-learning, blended programmes, virtual classrooms and social learning
Manage and support the central schedule and delegate numbers to maximise delivery efficiencies
Operate as the face of L&D in Ireland, maintaining excellent communications with key stakeholders
Support team colleagues with specialised projects and learning design
Facilitation and coaching activities
Able to relate to others and build rapport
Able to operate with multiple reporting line and manage multiple priorities
Aware of the broader operating environment of Sodexo, globally and in region.

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have delivered training previously and be confident in facilitating sessions to cover a range of topics. This is an autonomous role; therefore we are looking for someone who is comfortable working on their own, although you will have the support of the wider HR team locally.
