As a Learning and Development Manager for Sodexo you are a skilled communicator and an enabler of employee success. Your role plays a crucial part in ensuring that our teams receive the necessary training and development opportunities to excel in their roles and contribute to the overall success of our organisation.
We are looking for a Learning & Development Manager to join our Health and Care team supporting ESNEFT. (East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust). For this position we require flexibility and the ability to travel between Colchester Hospital, Ipswich Hospital, and various community sites.
This role will be responsible for managing and delivering all learning and development activities for Sodexo employees across designated healthcare sites. The role requires you to align L&D activity with internal policies and client agreements while providing timely and accurate management information to meet agreed deadlines. You’ll collaborate with various stakeholders, ensuring that all employees receive the required training, and helping the business achieve its learning objectives effectively.

What You'll Do:
- Ensure all Sodexo personnel on-site receive the required learning and development in accordance with project agreements and internal policies.
- Deliver high-quality training content that aligns with Sodexo's standards and client requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of all learning and development activities, providing timely reports according to agreed formats and deadlines.
- Work closely with service managers and senior leadership to identify and address the learning and development needs of the business.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with site teams, L&D teams, and support contacts to ensure effective learning solutions.
- Collaborate with key client groups to ensure training compliance and provide ongoing development support.
- Develop and update a local Training Needs Analysis throughout the annual appraisal cycle, ensuring it remains relevant.
- Monitor and evaluate learning and development activities to ensure effectiveness and track return on investment (ROI).

What You Bring:
- Hold a certificate in training, learning and development or equivalent.
- Previous experience of providing a training and/or learning and development service
- Ability to communicate effectively to other people across all levels and organisations.
- Experience of managing a learning provision.
- Experience influencing performance at peer level.
- Ability to operate with multiple reporting lines.
Desirable
- Accredited qualification in training and/or learning and development.
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- Proven track record of managing a learning and development support service
- Experience of developing a training function.
- Experience in supporting the mobilisation of staff to a new service provider.
- Previous background including coaching and facilitation
