Learning & Development Business Partner

We are now looking to recruit an experienced Business Partner.
Role Responsibility
This role will work closely with our operational business units, to build a deep understanding of their strategies and enable identification and diagnosis of capability gaps which will affect the business from achieving its goals. This role involves advising the business on suitable learning solutions which will drive organisational performance whilst building strong relationships with a complex range of stakeholders, collaborating and challenging to ensure best learning solutions are delivered.
- Ascertain the learning needs within a defined area and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to agree the demand and training plan.
- Build a deep understanding of the business area – strategies, goals, challenges and capability gaps and provide commercial learning solutions to address the need.
- Challenge the status quo in segment and in central learning & development, to promote and drive the application of learning interventions and policy.
- Diagnose the root cause of capability gaps and issues that contribute to strategic learning needs.
- Uses effective Management Information to gain insights to the business, capability gaps and learning needs and demonstrates value of learning interventions by linking to the business objectives.
- Develop strategies to build business knowledge, gather information and build key networks to be able to analyse and interpret current and future learning needs.
- Review current learning curriculum and learning activities and ensure alignment to current and future business needs. Where gaps exist, propose relevant learning solutions and work with necessary stakeholders to agree learning plan.
- Facilitate coaching and training initiatives to focus on building commercial performance and the capability of individuals and teams to support succession planning & talent development.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a Business Partner role, within HR/Learning & Development
- Experience in establishing credibility with HRDs and business executives, with a strong ability in delivering solutions
- Development of strategic planning and tactical actions for both current and future needs
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills
- Flexible to weekly travel across the UK
