Lead Conversion Specialist
As a Sales and Development Representative / Lead Conversion Specialist at Sodexo you will specialise in Lead Conversions, you will play a pivotal role in our Marketing team. You will be responsible for validating, engaging, and converting potential leads into qualified opportunities. If you have a proven track record in lead conversion this role is for you.

What you’ll do:
- Validate Inbound Marketing Leads: Collaborate closely with the marketing and business development teams to screen incoming marketing leads and assess their suitability to advance to the SAO stage. Employ predefined qualification criteria such as BANT to focus on leads most likely to convert.
- Outbound Prospecting and Validation: Conduct initial outreach via phone, email and social media to potential clients. This involve crafting targeted outreach activities and creating sales collateral to initiate contact with leads, understand prospect needs and requirements, and routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate BD by arranging initial meetings. Evaluate and adjust the effectiveness of these activities by testing outcomes.
- CRM Oversight: Maintain up-to-date records in Salesforce, ensuring that notes and statuses are accurately recorded as leads progress from MQLs to SAOs.
- Process Enhancement: Work cohesively with the Marketing strategy team and the BD team to regularly fine-tune lead generation and qualification methodologies. Test effectiveness of the process and activities to ensure an efficient process for converting MQLs into SAO.
- Performance Reporting: Track and meet performance KPIs such as lead conversion rates, number of SAOs generated, and lead-to-close time. Provide reports outlining achievements, areas for improvement, and market trends affecting target accounts or industries. Disseminate insights to relevant stakeholders.
What you bring:
- A results-driven mindset and a resilient self-starter.
- Strong organisational, planning, and problem-solving skills. Attention to details.
- 5+ years in similar roles.
- Proficient in Salesforce and SalesNav.
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time effectively, including the capability to handle multiple, concurrent projects.
- Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills, coupled with the ability in desktop research.
