What you’ll do: 

• §  The ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar role of sampling and analysis (using but not limited to water analysis, Karl Fisher, GC and spectrometry)

  §  Competent at data analysis and compiling professional reports for different target audiences in a timely manner

  §  Immediately notify the supervisor of any anomalous or non-conformances

  §  Effective management of data in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS)

  §  Create task specific laboratory procedures to ensure compliance to safety and quality standards.

  §  Attend appropriate training to update skills, knowledge of equipment materials and procedures

  §  All tasks are carried out in a professional manner, following “safe systems of work” & risk assessments

  §  Wear the correct and appropriate PPE specified.

  §  Assisting laboratory personnel and perform ad-hoc lab duties as required may occur outside normal working hours

  §  To perform any other reasonable duties as required by your manager.     

  §  Promote good safety habits and methods of work

  §  To provide high personal standards of work/performance, personal hygiene and appearance

  §  To ensure that you are aware of, and meet the legal and company requirements for fire, safety, health and hygiene.

  §  Adherence to the ISO 9001 quality system

  §  To report all accidents and near misses to the manager immediately

  §  To communicate and actively participate in all contract activities in including team meetings

What you bring:   

• Highly professional manner and understanding that honesty and ethics are essential  

• A positive attitude and ability to communicate with co-workers and other departments with professionalism and respect  

• Willingness to be open to learning and growing  

• 1 year of related work experience preferred
