Job Introduction
As a Kitchen Porter at Sodexo at The Amex Stadium, home to Brighton and Hove Albion FC, you are also a helping pair of hands and a strong multi–tasker. This role includes supporting the serving of our vibrant meals and ensuring that all work areas are kept clean and tidy. What you’ll do:
- Clean and sanitize equipment and workstations
- Serve and replenish food from counters and steam table and break down stations at the end of meal periods
- Interacts with customers in the serving, retail, and dining areas
- Assist with deliveries and replenishing stock
What you bring:
- Positive attitude, professionalism and respect for others
- Basic food-handling skills
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- Willing to learn new skills
No previous work experience required

Role Responsibility
- Have excellent levels of personal hygiene and presentation standards
- Be consistently punctual for all scheduled shifts
- Follow the company and legal responsibilities of a food handler
- Ensure the cleanliness standards of presentation of the back of house, front of house and all storage areas are excellent at all times
- Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment to maximize efficiency & prolong life
The Ideal Candidate
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Being friendly yet professional
- Being a team player with an ability to resolve conflict and take criticism
- Good attention to detail and punctuality
- Being proactive is key
- Experience within a hospitality, catering setting
Package Description
- Monday-Friday including Match Days
- £10.42ph paid weekly
- Very close to transport links
- Annual leave April - April. 20 days per calendar year which increases with service
