Job Introduction

Heritage Portfolio are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team at our Central Production Kitchen.

Working alongside the kitchen team, you will be part of a dynamic group that aims to provide quality fresh food that not only exceeds our guest expectations, but is also in line with agreed company & legal standards.

The Kitchen Porter is a vital role; making the delivery of our culinary operation possible. You need to enjoy organising yourself well, communicating positively with the whole team and take pride in delivering sparkling clean equipment and premises in a fast paced environment.

The ideal candidate for this role will be organised and adaptable, with the ability to support where required assisting all aspects within the kitchen.

This is a weekday position offering daytime hours only.

The Ideal Candidate

Have a hard working and reliable attitude
Good kitchen practice
Be flexible in order to meet company demands
Excellent levels of kitchen hygiene
Ability to prioritise and multi-task
Good understanding of English, both written and orally

Heritage Portfolio is the sub-segment of Sodexo Live! that produces outstanding catering and event services for our cultural destinations. These include exceptional “in-house” café services in some of Britain’s leading visitor attractions such as V&A Dundee, The Signet Library, The Scottish National Gallery, private parties and dining, weddings and prestigious events including The Queen’s annual Royal Garden Party for which we are honoured to have received a Royal Warrant of Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen as Supplier of Catering Services.
