Kitchen Porter at Heathrow Airport Lounge
Job Introduction
We are currently looking to add to our kitchen brigade in one of our Lounges at Heathrow Airport, to deliver a world class guest experience. The lounge offers both Brasserie Dining and Casual Dining options while creating a relaxed atmosphere for our guests.
The Kitchen Porter is a vital role; making service possible and providing support for the whole restaurant team. They need to enjoy organising themselves well, communicating positively with the whole team and take pride in delivering sparkling clean equipment and premises in a fast paced environment.

Role Responsibility
- Ensure that the Company's and statutory regulations regarding hygiene, safety, and cleanliness are complied with and all tasks undertaken according to Safeguard
- Ensure the cleanliness standards of presentation of the back of house, front of house and all storage areas are excellent at all times
- Clean and maintain all kitchen equipment to maximize efficiency & prolong life
- Clean allocated pieces of heavy catering equipment using instructions and cleaning materials including air filter and extraction systems.
- Operate industrial dishwashers in all catering areas
- Transport provisions, equipment and other catering related items as required
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience working in a kitchen
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A flexible “can do” attitude
- The ability to multi-task within a fast paced environment
- Good understanding of customer care
- Able to provide 5 year employment referencing
Package Description
Our Hosts are the face of the Lounge. Working in a VIP and First Class Lounge, providing first class customer service to guests. The role consists of serving food or drinks all complimentary. Expectation all guests to have an amazing start to their journey and our customer-focused Hosts will ensure this happens every day.
- Must be able to provide 5 years working histories and 5 years addresses.
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant industry.
- 2 shift patterns. Early & Late (Timing TBC).
