Kitchen Porter at Cathay Pacific Lounge

Job Introduction

We currently have an opportunity for a Kitchen Porter to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.

Role Responsibility

  • The Porter works within the First Class lounge and will understand and deliver the culture and service by ensuring quality service
  • To provide reliable and high quality services for the lounge during and after opening times
  • To Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of all designated areas
  • Greet guest in a warm and sincere manner
  • Proactively engage with guest to take luggage graciously and advise of storage
  • To safely store luggage for the guest and ensure there is a clear system to quickly identify guest luggage when they are leaving
  • To ensure all luggage areas are cleaned efficiently and in a timely manner to the required standards – this is to include weekly and period tasks
  • To interact directly and discretely with the passengers in a professional and appropriate manner
  • To provide excellent customer service from the preparation, presentation and service within the Lounge to meet the clients expectations and customer satisfaction
 
  • To ensure that Service Standards and Procedures are followed at all times

The Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate for this role will have:

  • Excellent customer service
  • Previous experience working in a hospitality role
  • The ability to prioritise and have an eye for detail
  • Knowledge of food safety and COSHH  (advantageous)
  • Good communication skills – written and verbal
  • The ability to demonstrate great team work
  • The ability to follow instructions

Package Description

Working in a VIP and First Class Lounge, providing first class customer service to guests. The role consists of serving food or drinks all complimentary. Expectation all guests to have an amazing start to their journey and our customer-focused Hosts will ensure this happens every day.

  • Must be able to provide 5 years working histories and 5 years addresses.
  • Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant industry.
  • 2 shift patterns. Early & Late (Timing TBC).
