- Installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Fitting and repairing various plant and domestic equipment.
- Cutting, soldering, and assembling pipes, tubes, fittings, and fixtures.
- Inspecting and testing plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance.
- Troubleshooting and resolving problems.
- Maintain site-based water systems ensuring compliance with the ACOP for Legionella
Role Responsibility
- Flexibility to support of engineering and site service lines
- Undertake basic maintenance of HVAC equipment
- Undertake predictive maintenance techniques on plant equipment
- Accompaniment of site sub-contractors as and when required
- Maintain a safe working environment for self and others adhering to all HSE policies and procedures and drive a zero-harm safety culture
- Maintain effective relationships between Sodexo engineering team, on site client and the other Sodexo IFM
- Deliver highest possible standards of engineering maintenance to the site
- Delivery of Statutory, Regulatory compliance as well as Sodexo & client requirements
- Supports the Site legionella maintenance Program
- Responds to site water system failures, makes safe and undertakes a satisfactory repair
- Flexibility to work with other site-based staff to deliver other engineering activities
The Ideal Candidate
- 1 years’ experience as a trained plumbing engineer
- C&G Level 2 in Plumbing & heating qualification
- Proficient in reading and understanding engineering schematic drawings
- Safe and competent use of plumbing based and other engineering tools
- Good critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent working knowledge of water supply, heating, and ventilation systems.
- Willingness to untaken professional training & development
- Physical dexterity
- Ability to build professional relationships with internal colleagues and clients
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Active listener
- Understanding of Health & Safety legislation and requirements within the scope of the role
- IT literate – Microsoft
- Clean driving licence
