Job Introduction

Recruitment plays a key part in our organisation’s success, enabling us to continue providing the very best care to our clients - something we have been doing in and around Oxford for over 50 years!  

As an Internal Recruiter you will be responsible for interviewing live-in Carers and managing their application through to the offer stage, ensuring they have an unrivaled candidate experience throughout.  Working closely with the Head of Recruitment you will be contacting new inbound enquiries as well as proactively reaching out to generate new leads or referrals.  This is a fast paced, rewarding role making a difference in the care sector, and most importantly to our clients’ lives. 

Role Responsibility

  • Building rapport with candidates discussing live-in care and assessing their application

  • Scheduling and conducting telephone and face to face/video interviews

  • Assess candidate performance accurately against selection benchmarks

  • Maintaining up to date and accurate notes on the ATS

  • Responding to inbound enquiries via email, website and voicemail 

  • Sending out and collating offers, contracts and training confirmations

  • Obtaining onboarding documents and processing applications including reference checks and right to work

  • Supporting with accommodation bookings for carers joining training; liaising with the Office Manager and also the Operations team where necessary

  • Management of carer compliance, reporting to Head of Recruitment and Registered Manager on a monthly basis

  • Taking part and supporting Quality Assurance audits of the Recruitment function

The Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing

  • Good knowledge of the healthcare sector

  • Previous experience of working in a recruitment role

  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately

  • Desire to deliver a consistently high candidate experience

  • Knowledge of using an ATS desirable

  • Competent in the use of IT software such as word, excel, Google workspace

  • Great organisational skills

This role will be based in our office in Botley, Oxford, pending relocation within the local area.
