Job Introduction

As the IT Delivery Director at Sodexo UK&I, you are not only a seasoned leader with a proven track record of success, but also a strategic thinker who is passionate about driving transformational change. In this role, you will work closely with our UK&I CIO and senior business stakeholders to set the strategy, build capabilities, and drive key objectives. 

With your extensive experience managing and optimising demand and PPM functions, and delivering cross-functional technical portfolios, you will be accountable for the effective delivery of key governance, demand and PPM activities.

Role Responsibility

  • Work with the UK&I CIO, IS&T leadership team, and senior business stakeholders to set the strategy, build capabilities, and drive key objectives of the Governance, Demand, Programme and Project Management, and Business Relationship Management functions.
  • Build effective relationships with key business contacts.
  • Recruit, foster, and develop our talent and our talent pipelines with a focus on continuous improvement and a customer-centric performance culture.
  • Manage demand, through delivery and into resource and workforce management.
  • Ensure IS&T continues to support the business in their drive to increase revenue and support margin for all IS&T deliverables within a bid and then ensuring the effective and smooth handover into the delivery function as we mobilize.
  • Driving a continuous service improvement and customer-centric culture.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience building capabilities, managing, and optimizing Demand and PPM functions, processes, and driving improving standards through coaching.
  • Strong understanding of IT, PPM, and demand management – ideally professional accreditations or chartered status (e.g. APM).
  • 10+ years of leading a large global delivery team and managing demand as a region within a global organization with complex, matrix structured entities and budgets of £10m+.
  • Clear leadership experience (5+ years), of working at Director or C-suite level gained in a complex global organization.
  • Proven track record in delivering £m’s of a cross-section of technical portfolios.
