IT Change Manager
Job Introduction
Within the IS&T Team, the IT Change Manager will own the delivery of change management activities across Sodexo.
You will encourage best practice change management across all layers of IT Service Management (ITSM), Infrastructure, Applications and Projects. The Change Manager will ensure that the requirements of the Change Management Policy under the Change Control Framework are adhered to across Sodexo.
You will work closely with the IS&T support teams, technical implementors, programme/project management, business relationship managers and compliance and control functions. You will drive improvements, control and create standardisation where required and provide the necessary challenge when you need to.
As Change Management is a key ITSM discipline, this role will be pivotal in the development and running of best practice policy, standards and controls across the services IS&T provide to the business.
Role Responsibility
- Ensure the change policy requirements are adhered to within Sodexo, by all 3rd parties and at country levels across each and all layers of the change process
- Establish a series of deliverables for actionable and targeted change management
- Evaluation by stakeholders, impact assessment and action strategy for transition including coordination and preparation program
- Be aware of all releases pertaining to applications, software, builds and code releases and ensure that all stages of release management are conformed to
- Perform Risk management and analysis on all major releases and changes to ensure the correct outcomes are met
- Quality Assurance across all Changes and Releases
- To work closely with the Programme/Project Management Team to participate in discovery, go-no go meetings and ensure that mandatory change requirements prior to go-live are understood and complied with
- Work alongside the IT Compliance & Control teams to ensure existing change controls are protected and facilitate the escalation of issues or concerns arising within change management governance
- Champion Change governance and encourage development through innovation, benchmarking, adoption of best practice and knowledge sharing
- Challenge, influence and educate stakeholders and teams to adopt best practice change management within their programmes and projects
- Work with Service Delivery Managers to help identify continual service improvements within the Change Management functions, identifying opportunities for continual improvement and innovation in our change approach

- Ensure the awareness is shared with affected viewers throughout the program

- Tracking and monitoring
- Using the ITSM to manage all Change and Release related tickets ensuring the status and categories are correct.
- Create performance reports on a weekly/monthly basis displaying activities, KPI’s, SLA’s management information, highlights and lowlights
