Housekeeper/Hybrid Role

Job Introduction

What you’ll do:     

  • Provide support of all cleaning functions performed by Sodexo.
  • Adhere to all standard operating procedures (SOP) and work instructions.
  • To ensure food and beverages are available in a clean and hygienic environment, restocking where necessary
  • To be the first point of contact for customers in relation to housekeeping and catering services
  • To be visible to all customers and build relationships at all levels to create a great place to work
  • To ensure the building is compliant to relevant Health and Safety and Food safety procedures (completing food safety due diligence)
  • To ensure all unsafe food is removed and reported to catering management and made safe
  • To monitor and review and maintain the kitchen consumables within the building, restock catering outlet
  • Participate in audits/performance checks and escalate any issues/complaints to the Supervisor or Customer Service Manager.
  • Complete all necessary training and development.
  • Build relationships with colleagues and key customers from AstraZeneca
  • Understand customer needs and provide support in their day to day activities.
  • Undertake all required training in relation to all aspects of the cleaning service delivered to the client, as requested.
  • Undertake specific training on the relevant cleaning offer.
  • Wear the company uniform at all times whilst at work, and where applicable any items of personal protective equipment, as specified by client SOPs.
  • Comply with all client policies / procedures in relation to Cleaning / infection control / security.
  • Ensure that all requirements in relation to COSHH are adhered to, as specified by the Customer Service     Manager.
  • Adhere to the site/cleaning offer and colour coding policy.
  • Ensure that all requirements of the specified cleaning offer are carried out, as directed by the Customer Service Manager
  • To report all faults in relation to cleaning machinery/equipment and building defects

What you bring: 

Essential:

  • Knowledge and experience of working in a controlled environment (engineering, manufacturing or pharmaceutical)
  • Experienced in delivering a cleaning service
  • Good communication skills
  • Customer oriented, conducting job function with a primary focus on customer service

Desirable

  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Prior knowledge and understanding of COSHH
  • General health and safety awareness
  • Understanding of waste segregation principles
  • GxP Awareness

Package Description

Housekeeper 

  • Hybrid Role 
  • Monday to Friday hours between 6am - 6pm
  • 40 Hours per week 
  • £12 per hour + Sodexo Benefits.
