Job Introduction

As a Cleaner/ Housekeeper at Sodexo, you are a cleaner, carer, and infection fighter all in one! Your work in North Devon District Hospital will be creating a clean and sterile environment for the well-being and safety of patients. What you’ll do:    

• Keep patients safe by cleaning their rooms, offices, common areas, washrooms, and more 

• Strip and clean beds, collect linen 

• Create a sterile, safe environment – clean desks, ceilings and vents, walls, blinds, and more 

• Dust, mop, vacuum, sweep, polish floors, and replenish supplies 

• Emptying bins and waste containers

• Ability to perform physical aspects of the job  

• Exceptional customer service skills; willingness to go beyond 

• Be passionate about health and safety   

• Personal and professional integrity, appearance, and demeanor

• Criminal Record Check and specified immunizations as a condition of employment

• 15.75 hours per week
• £10.37 per hour
• Week 1: Tuesday Wednesday Thursday 16.30 - 21.00
• Week 2: Monday Friday Saturday Sunday 16.30 - 21.00
