Hourly Care Manager
Job Introduction
We’re looking for an experienced care manager to join our hourly care team in Oxford. You will be mentoring and supporting a small team of carers, helping them provide the best home care possible to our clients in and around Oxford. Getting to know every carer and client, you’re the person our carers will turn to for advice. You’ll be at the heart of our care, keeping everything running smoothly, providing the all-important link between our clients, carers, operations team and service centre.
Community matters to us at Oxford Aunts. We share ideas, knowledge and experience to keep the people we care for part of the community they belong to. If this is a passion you also share and you have previous experience as a care manager, regional care manager or similar, we would love to hear from you.
Working with us you’ll have:
-
Hybrid working split between our new office base in Oxford (Eynsham) and home
-
We’ll invest in your career development, through additional training, coaching and mentoring
-
Award winning innovative software and processes
-
Supportive team and management
-
Great place to build skills in sales with development opportunities across the Sodexo Group
-
Free, confidential Employee Assistance Programme
-
Cycle to work scheme
-
Opportunity to help shape and define our new hourly service
Role Responsibility
You will be accountable for delivering a high level of customer care to both our clients and carers, through positive and proactive engagement. Working closely with the existing Registered Manager at Oxford Aunts and the operations team you will also support our live-in side of the business, to ensure that our clients all receive an entirely joined up experience.
Whilst Oxford Aunts has already begun to deliver hourly ‘wrap around’ care to existing clients, you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Hourly Care with all pre-operational set up processes including competitor analysis, recruitment, policies and processes and associated documentation, systems development, creation of training materials, reporting, supporting governance and decision making to prepare the organisation for a complete hourly care offer.

You must have strong planning, organisation and prioritisation skills as well as assertiveness, compassion and empathy. It’s also desirable that you have experience in the health and social care sector, including recruitment and selection, business development and sales.
