Hospitality Sous Chef

Job Introduction

Sodexo's Energy and Resources segment have a fantastic opportunity for a Sous Chef to join us at Shell Centre - London. As a Sous Chef you will join our dedicated catering team, who produce outstanding food using the finest and freshest ingredients in this highly innovative corporate environment. The food offer can range from plated fine dining, canapes, working lunches, buffets and bowl food events.

The Ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar environment, be customer facing, an ambitious people manager with a passion for innovation, who is skilled in fresh food delivery and passionate about food.


Role Responsibility

  • To lead the kitchen, manage and maintain in the absence of Head Chef.
  • Support the delivery of excellent food preparation and delivery within hospitality and Events
  • To use strong leadership skills to motivate the brigade.
  • To be responsible for ensuring that all staff are briefed on Allergens and documentation completed prior to every service.
  • To deliver new menu concepts & ideas to meet the ever-changing market needs & trends.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Experience within a Sous Chef Role
  • Experience in High Volume environment
  • B&I experience advantageous
  • 7061/7062 or equivalent as a minimum
  • IT skills

Package Description

Salary - £34,000 - £36,000 per annum
