Job Introduction

  • 40 Hours Per Week
  • Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00 . However, flexibility may be required to cover evening and weekend working to meet business needs.
  • £28,000 - £30,000 per annum

This is a unique opportunity to join a Global leader in Catering and FM Management with over 430,000 staff worldwide, and support our Armed Services Personnel as a Hospitality Manager at RAF Benson, Ewelme, Wallingford, OX10 6AA.

Reporting to the General Manager, you'll be responsible for Front of House and back of House Catering/Hospitality and accommodation within the Mess. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow, develop and thrive in a management role. 

 Whatyou’ll do:

  • Oversee the provision of day to day catering services and plan and organise all hospitality events within the department.  
  • Manage a team of 15-20 staff, comprising of Front of House stewards, bar staff, Back of House kitchen staff and   accommodation team 
  • Ensure catering standards are meeting customer and client expectations
  • Ensure all cleaning standards are kept high in the accommodation areas and turnover of rooms are managed effectively to meet customer demand
  • Maintain excellent client relationships and communicate with the day to day client at every opportunity - holding at least a weekly review meeting

What you bring:

  • Knowledge of working in a management role within the soft FM service industry/Catering/Hospitality/Events/ Accommodation
  • Good numerical, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Ability to analyse problems, develop opportunities and implement innovative solutions
