Hospitality Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Hospitality Manager to join our team with a prominent client a their prestigious central London site.

We are looking for a highly organised people manager to manage the effective operation of the Hospitality departmental functions in this prestigious location. You will provide a professional hospitality  service, ensuring that company standards are maintained and that Client expectations are met, with a focus on team management, financial awareness, service delivery and innovation.

Role Responsibility

  • Ensure that the location meets statutory and company requirements of Health and Safety, Food Safety and environmental legislations and procedures.
  • Set objectives and be responsible for the day to day running of the hospitality department,
  • Lead the Hospitality department team, monitor their work and carry out appraisals, performance management and ensure development plans are in place.
  • Ensure that the hospitality department achieves, as a minimum, the financial targets agreed with the client in line with the budget.
  • Hold team meetings on a regular basis to communicate targets, standards required, company and client information.
  • Work in conjunction with the General Services Manager to prepare budget and achieve agreed financial targets whilst maximising all commercial opportunities.
  • Develop and evolve all client services of the hospitality department, ensuring regular adjustments and improvements are both recommended and implemented.
  • Oversee the delivery of all out of hours Evening Functions (after 5pm)

 

The Ideal Candidate

You will have previous experience of managing a high-end hospitality and fine dining operation and good knowledge of Health & Safety.

You will be passionate about food and hospitality and have the ability to use your innovation skills to make a real difference.

  • Proven consistent experience in a similar environment
  • Previous experience at Management level
  • Excellent organisation skills
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Strong at problem solving
  • High standards of personal presentation
  • Good awareness of industry standards

 

Work Pattern – 40 hrs pw Monday to Friday with flexibility required depending on business needs

There is requirement to attend fine dining / hospitality evening functions with advance notice

Package Description

Salary £40,000pa - £45,000pa + great benefits
