Hospitality Chef

Job Introduction

We are currently recruiting a Hospitality Chef to join our catering and hospitality team at a high-profile Business School in Dublin. This role is primarily Monday to Friday, however may require weekend / evening work as per the business needs.

As Hospitality Chef you will ensure to deliver high quality, fresh foods whilst contributing toward the development of new food offers. You will ensure to deliver the highest standards of service to our customers. With excellent craft skills and flexibility to produce a range of requirements, you will ensure the efficient preparation of fresh quality food.

Role Responsibility

• Lead the preparation and delivery of quality food for all customers
• Ensure food provided is to the correct standard and as the service offer
• Ensure the effective delivery of all hospitality requirements
• Evaluate the offering on a continuous basis, introducing new offers and products in line with market trends
• Manage food waste on site and keeping accurate records
• Manage all aspects of Health & Safety and Food Hygiene

The Ideal Candidate

• Previous experience in a Head Chef role, teamed with excellent craft skills
• Excellent supervisory skills and experience of working in a culinary team
• Industry acumen and knowledge of external catering developments and innovations
• Good communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels
• Good financial awareness
• Personal innovation and passion for quality food
