Hospitality Assistant
Job Introduction

- £13.85 per hour
- Shifts between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm
We are seeking a professional Hospitality Assistant to join our on-site team at Sidley Austin,contracted to deliver exceptional hospitality services to the client.Hospitality plays a vital role in ensuring client satisfaction and creating alasting positive impression. This role requires you to provide services to thehighest standard, taking responsibility for the smooth running of clientmeeting rooms and supporting with a range of ad-hoc duties as needed.
What you'll do:
- Deliver excellent customer service across all hospitality and meeting room services.
- Liaise with the client services team on bookings and hospitality requirements, fulfilling ad hoc requests (e.g., last-minute catering).
- Manage hospitality supplies, including placing orders, stock taking, collecting/storing deliveries, and maintaining pantry duties.
- Handle hospitality-related communications, including emails and documentation (e.g., temperature and service forms).
- Ensure compliance with company health & safety and food safety regulations at all times.
- Provide catering information, support events, and adapt to changing business needs with flexibility.
What you'll bring:
- Flexible and willing to work compressed shifts, occasional overtime, and adapt to business needs.
- Previous experience in hospitality service with strong customer focus and professionalism.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to detail.
- Calm under pressure, enthusiastic, and proactive with a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Strong organisational skills and commitment to maintaining high service standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
