Hospitality Assistant

Job Introduction

As a Hospitality Assistant at Sodexo in NBC Universal - Central Saint Giles, London, WC2H UNU, you'll help with the preparation and serving of our vibrant menu and ensuring all working areas are kept clean and tidy. What you’ll do: 

  • Deputise the Hospitality Lead whenever is necessary

  • Deliver Hospitality events & client meeting rooms requirements to Sodexo and Leonardo agreed standards and any end client expectations

  • Ensure the service is always delivered in time fashion

  • Gather, type and check information to be displayed on menus, including allergens specifications

  • Ensure the maintenance and cleanliness of the hospitality facilities 

  • Report any customer complaints or compliments and take some remedial action if at all possible

  • Report immediately any incidents or accident, fire, theft, loss, damage, unfit food or other irregularities and take such action as may be appropriate

  • Train Hospitality Assistant members and temporary agency staff according to site procedures and Sodexo and Client rules 

  • Liaise with line manager and suppliers to create bespoke catering packages according to client’s expectations

  • Attend all operational meetings as required and ensure up to date information is cascaded to relevant personnel

  • Complete all administrative tasks allocated to the role in a timely and accurate manner 

What you bring: 

  • Strong verbal communication skills

  • Sound basis of IT knowledge and usage 

  • At least 2 years of frontline operational experience
