About the role
Hospital stays can be quite a stressful time for our patients and their loved ones, a simple smile and fantastic service can put a patient at ease and make all the difference!
At Sodexo Hospital Cleaners are vital to making sure that we provide a high quality cleaning service for our patients and visitors. You will follow a strict daily cleaning schedule ensuring to maintain a clean and hygienic environment whilst upholding a high level of infection prevention throughout the hospital.
Please note, you must have the ability to deal with clinical waste, smells, bodily excretions and fluids.

A few things about you
Our patients are at the heart of everything we do so it’s important that fantastic customer service is always at the forefront! If you have previous experience working in a cleaning team, that’s great! If not, but you have customer service experience and strong attention to detail, we still want to hear from you!
You will be customer facing and will respond to requests so having excellent customer service and communication skills is key. Being a team player is also important, there’s no ‘I’ in team!
Sodexo embeds a strong Safety culture in everything we do. There will be company procedures to follow alongside our Health & Safety practises so it is vital that you will champion this.
You will need to be a keen learner as you will have continuous training opportunities throughout your career.
Package Description
Stoke Mandeville Hospital
- Shifts are 5 out of 7 days and cover over a 24 hour period.

- NHS Discounts
