Horticulture Manager (Grounds Maintenance)
Job Introduction
We are currently looking to recruit and experienced Horticultural Manager to lead the grounds maintenance services across multiple corporate IFM sites
Role Responsibility
- Management of horticultural services across 7 high profile sites, maintaining up to 90 acres of land and ensuring that we deliver a high quality service
- Lead a team of 8 (5 peak season, 3 off season) to ensure that buildings, hedges and land is maintained to the highest of standards
- Ensure that methods of preparation, production and presentation comply with company standards and procedures.
- Comply with and maintain the company standard of health and safety by compliance with safe systems, procedures and training and to take any corrective action as appropriate.
The Ideal Candidate
- Previous experience in a similar role teamed with relevant Horticultural qualifications
- Knowledge and understanding of the establishment and maintenance of plants, pruning, fertilising, pests and diseases.
- Ability to use a variety of horticulture tools and equipment
- Experience of managing a team in a similar environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Computer skills including Microsoft office.
