Heritage Portfolio delivers outstanding catering and event services in the destination cafes and restaurants of some of Scotland’s leading visitor attractions

All of our menus are prepared in our café and restaurant kitchens, from scratch, by conscientious food lovers; the beautiful cakes and tempting traybakes you see on our counters are baked daily; our teams focus on providing our customers with an amazing experience that goes beyond the remarkable food we serve.

We are looking for passionate, enthusiastic, and motivated individuals to join our team and take pride in the work they deliver.

Location of work Hopetoun House: Stables Kitchen

A short trip from Edinburgh to South Queensferry finds you in the 18th century splendour of Hopetoun House – one of Scotland’s finest stately homes. The Stables Kitchen opens seasonally each year and is in the less formal surroundings of the stables and courtyard, serving guests hearty and rustic fare – operating friendly service where we treat our guests like family, which is shown in our casual but comfortable décor.

With the opportunity to also work at Scottish National Portrait Gallery: Café Portrait The magnificent building that is the Scottish National Portrait Gallery on Queen Street is a marvel in itself, let alone its collection of world-class paintings and photography. Our ground floor counter-service café combines sleek contemporary styling with a high church-like ceiling and wonderfully gothic windows. We are delighted to have a loyal customer base, who appreciate our extra special touches. Along with these fantastic venues be able to be a part of the team at other live event within Scotland.

Heritage Portfolio is the sub-segment of Sodexo Live! that produces outstanding catering and event services for our cultural destinations. These include exceptional in-house café services in some of Britain’s leading visitor attractions such as V&A Dundee, The Signet Library, The Scottish National Gallery, private parties and dining, weddings and prestigious events including The Queen’s annual Royal Garden Party for which we are honoured to have received a Royal Warrant of Appointment to Her Majesty The Queen as Supplier of Catering Services.
