As Health and Safety Manager your focus will be to create a safe environment for others. This will suit a passionate experienced H&S Manager skilled at inspiring managers to create a culture of safety within their teams. A consistent relevant background is required together with demonstrable food safety and facilities management experience.

Main Responsibilities
What you'll do:

  • To ensure employees promote health and safety in the workplace and co-ordinate accident prevention and health and safety measures. 
  • Assess hazards and risks, ensure full compliance. 
  • Identify areas of improvement and implement.
  • Assist colleagues in completing their jobs in accordance with HSE requirements.
  • Complete audits and inspections; assist in corrective action planning.
  • Train managers and supervisors for incident reporting, investigation, and root cause analysis
  • Report, classify, and investigate all incident reports.

The Ideal Candidate
What you bring

  • NEBOSH
  • Can demonstrate consistent relevant experience of industry experience and be a ‘Subject Matter Expert’ in the craft for which they are overseeing, namely food safety, health and safety and facility management.
  • Be competent in all company and regulatory safety policies and regulations.
  • Be capable of identifying existing and predictable hazards in the surroundings or working conditions which are unsanitary, hazardous, or dangerous to employees, and who has authorisation to take prompt corrective measures to eliminate them
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Computer literate
Desirable
  • Previous management experience
  • Experience in working in Oil & Gas industry
