Head of Frontline (Volume) Recruitment

 

To support our People Strategy, Sodexo (UK & Ireland) have embarked on a region-wide project to centralise all volume-based recruitment to support our frontline teams with their hiring needs. This project has resulted in the business creating a new recruitment co-ordination team, and we’re excited to be recruiting for the new role of Head of Frontline (Volume) Talent to oversee function.

 

The Head of Frontline (Volume) Talent is an exciting new role that is accountable for managing the full recruitment lifecycle for all volume-based recruitment, coupled with providing a VIP candidate experience and promote Sodexo as an Employer of Choice. You will develop and drive the delivery of all high-volume recruitment using strategic vision, coordination of tools, resources and processes in support and consistent evolution of the Regional Frontline strategy.

 

You will lead the selection, implementation, integration and optimisation of technologies and vendors to support recruitment, employment branding, deployment & redeployment, on-boarding and pre-employment screening of segment employees. 


You will coordinate and manage the entire recruitment process from attraction through to selection & assessment right up to onboarding. As part of this role, you will also find yourself working closely with the other key areas of our HR team including the Reward, L&D, Employee Relations, HR Services and HR Business Partnering teams to support in bringing our People Strategy to life.

Role Responsibility

No two days are the same in our team! The main accountabilities for this role include:

 

Strategy

  • Develop and drive Frontline Employee Value Proposition strategy to position region for efficient and sustainable growth
  • Partner with stakeholders, HR teams, etc., to understand and align on business strategy and identify talent gaps that impact region and segment performance
  • Conduct benchmarking research; analyse, interpret, and evaluate labour market trends and leading practices to both predict needs and diagnose emerging trends
  • Engage expertise required to develop new approaches and creative solutions that overcome market challenges and changes in the business that impact the type and volume of talent needed to achieve regional objectives
  • Identify, develop, and manage strategic regional vendor relationships in support of frontline strategy outcomes
  • Incorporate current engagement trends and technology platforms
  • Drive and develop social mobility, equality, and inclusion strategies within frontline recruitment

 

Project Management

  • Employ broad leadership expertise to accomplish results and influence critical behaviour changes to ensure compliance and delivery of frontline recruitment and strategy
  • Ensure Frontline methodology, process and tool efficiency and consistency across the region by streamlining the integration of Segment processes, support functions, technologies, roles, and responsibilities involved in the frontline hiring and onboarding process
  • Lead cross functional teams; influences resources within team and budget to ensure results are achieved. Leads multiple projects and provides
  • Contribute to transversal, SO and segment HR project teams such as workforce planning and system deployment
  • Partner with segments on major contract mobilisation planning and execution efforts
  • Ensure alignment of regional initiative priorities and communication of progress to all stakeholders.

 

Talent Acquisition

  • Develop approach for direct support of frontline recruitment
  • Simplify hiring process and streamline candidate application process
  • Identify and implement improved digital tools and application systems
  • Ensure delivery of all high-volume recruitment in line with KPIs
  • Consistent drive and evolution of candidate experience
  • Improve brand attraction methods to engage with best talent
  • Mapping of brand strategic talent attraction strategy

Stakeholder communication and relationship management are vital to the success of this opportunity. You will have worked across multiple business groups and areas, dealing with varying priorities and projects, whilst providing a VIP service to our business stakeholders and across the corporation.
